numinous.nu is a small collection of shrines—long essays about characters that continue to stay with me. All four are being taken apart and made again: new writing, new design, new bones. One at a time, so each one gets the attention it deserves.
Chronostasis is finished and open. The rest are shut while I work behind them. Nothing here is abandoned; it is only taking a while.
Christina’s work carries the warmth of the early 2000s web, and not as a costume — soft palettes, hand-placed detail, layouts you want to sit down inside rather than pass through. And it is plain how much she loves the characters she writes about. Her shrines read like someone who has been thinking about them for years and is glad you asked.
