Hey Alita, I just checked out your new domain (numinous.nu) and I’ve gotta say: I’m surprisingly impressed. The minimalistic design really works. It has this subtle vibe that somehow speaks to me, even if I can’t quite explain why.
That said, I did love the name “velvetdusk” too. I mean, that one had its own kind of magic. But yeah, what you’ve done now feels very intentional and clean. I like it a lot 🙂
Also, your shrines are really interesting. I like the storytelling you’ve done with them. It adds a lot of depth and makes the whole experience feel more... personal and immersive.

Thank you so much, Christina. That really means a lot to me.
Honestly, the minimal design started partly because I was rusty with graphic design and did not have a program that was not a total pain to use. But the more I leaned into simplicity, the more intentional it started to feel, and now I would not change it. I am really glad it resonated with you.
And you are definitely not the only one who liked the velvetdusk name. I made the mistake of Googling it and got a little disenchanted by what came up. That said, I had always planned to move to a .nu domain eventually, and numinous just felt right when I found it. Funny how that happens sometimes.
Thank you, too, for what you said about the shrines. I really wanted them to feel like spaces you can sit with for a while, rather than just pages to read through, so I am really happy that came across.
Thank you again for taking the time to sign. ♡
